The symbolic blow that began the Reformation in 1517 was the posting of "Ninety-Five Theses" to the door of the
Wittenberg Church. That document contained an attack on corrpution of the Christian church and its leaders. The
church -- then, as now -- had become enmeshed with the views, ideas and practices of the larger culture and, in so doing,
had broken from the Gospel and the faith it professed.
Here, we renew the Reformation spirit. The least important thing we'll do is "post" our grievances
against the corruption of Christianity by the culture, both political and popular. The most important thing we'll do
is seek to explore ways Christians can apply the experience of God's love, and the life and teachings of Christ, to their
own private, public and political lives.
We seek to build a network of those who wish to put Christ's love into action through political and cultural expression.
We also seek, as Christ did when he cleared the temple of the buyers and sellers, to rescue Christianity from those who misuse
it for secular ends.
What do we mean by that? Check out our "Values and mission" page. Our links page is good too, taking you to
our blogs and cool links. Let us know what you think.
Important note: We don't want your money. We won't ask for your money. We encourage
you to give as you can where you think it will best express Christ's love.
